Tight Lines, New Friends & Zero Judgment
There’s something about a group of women getting together with their fly rods—equal
parts focus, laughter, and proud spark. On National Women’s Fly Fishing Day, we’re
celebrating all of it.
The FlyGals of the San Jose Flycasters are gathering for casting, connection, and
community—and we want you to be part of it.
Whether you’ve never picked up a fly rod or you’ve been casting for years, this day is
for you. Total beginner? Perfect. We’ll get you started. More experienced? Come refine
your cast and share in the fun. No pressure, no expectations.
We’ll have some fun casting games with prizes, a casting class for beginners, a short
program and a BBQ lunch. But the heart of the day is celebrating women in fly fishing—
showing up, trying something new, and lifting each other up along the way.
Come celebrate with us—cast, laugh, learn with each other.
