GGACC Spey Improver Program's class #84, on the American River, is scheduled for Saturday, June 16, 2018, starting at 8:30 AM.
This free one-day session is directed at those GGACC members who have either taken past GGACC Spey Angler Programs, or who have already had some experience fishing with a two-handed fly rod.
Items covered will include: Single Spey and Snake Roll casts with Skagit, Scandi, and Long Belly floating lines. There will also be a focus on casting with the non-dominate hand.
Interested students should schedule with Bill Gallogly email@example.com. Be sure to ask Bill for directions to the specific American River access site for this class.
If there is a large demand, multiple shifts may be accommodated.
In addition to your Spey rod, reel, lines, leaders, waders, boots, eyewear, hat, and other sun protection, be sure to bring a lunch and a camp chair.
