GGACC Women's Group Event - Beginning Casting & Chat

Hello Ladies!

The GGACC Women's Group is meeting tomorrow, Thursday, September 16, from 5:00–8:00 PM for a beginner fly-casting lesson followed by a conversation with Alice Gillibert.inside the lodge after dark.

Alice is a Hall of Fame member and former President of the American Casting Association. She holds multiple casting records, including the 150-foot Fly Distance Record, Plug Accuracy, and Dry Fly Accuracy.

She is returning after placing in the top four in the Trout Accuracy event at the International Casting Sport Federation (ICSF) Fly Casting World Championship in Vinadio, Italy.

The event is free and open to both GGACC members and non-members. If you've ever had a friend say, "You're into fly fishing? I've always wanted to try it!" this is the perfect opportunity to bring them along and introduce them to the world of fly fishing, the beautiful ponds, and The Club.

Loaner rods will be available, and we'll wrap up the evening with a casual sip-and-share gathering, with wine provided..
