Join the GGACC Women’s Group for a session on matching the hatchlearning how to identify the bugs trout eat and how to choose the right fly to imitate them.

This fun, interactive workshop will introduce you to the key aquatic insects in a trout’s world—mayflies, caddisflies, stoneflies, and midges—as well as terrestrials like ants and grasshoppers. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to strengthen your entomology knowledge, this session will help you approach fly selection with more confidence and curiosity.

What to Bring:

  • Your fly box (optional but encouraged!)
  • Notebook or phone for taking photos/notes
  • Curiosity about bugs and what fish eat
