The GGACC will again be hosting their annual World Championship of Spey Casting. 

Bring a blanket or folding chairs to sit on the lawn while you enjoy the beauty and spectacle of this amazing fly casting, or wander around the exhibitors' tables when you need a break. 

The casting ponds are located in Golden Gate Park (across from the buffalo paddock) just off John F. Kennedy Drive.

Friday, April 22, 2022:

8:00am - 9:30am: Breakfast. (Free to competitors, $5 for everyone else)

9:00am: Exhibitors setting up along the West Pond

10:00am - 1:00pm: Registration and sign in for all competitors.

9:00am - 12:00noon Qualifying with Glen, Head Judge, for new SoR registrants

9:00am - dark: The casting ponds are open for practice commencing at 9:00am. A roped off portion of the West Pond is restricted for use by exhibitors

12:00noon: Competitors meet with Head Judge Glen Nagumo on the lawn in front of the Lodge

12:30pm - 1:30pm: Lunch. (Free to competitors and $10 for everyone else)

4:00pm - 6:00pm: Snacks and Sips (Free to competitors and 10$ for everyone else)

Saturday, April 23 2022:

7:00am - 8:30am: Breakfast. (Free to competitors, $5 for everyone else)

8:00am: Competitors meeting and draw for the Seniors with Head Judge Glen Nagumo on the front lawn

8:00am - 1:00pm: Round one: Senior's Division, Women's Division and Men's Division

8:00am - 4:00pm: Exhibitors displaying and demonstrating equipment by the West Pond

10:00am - 4:00pm: Silent Auction open

12:30pm - 1:30pm: Lunch (Free to competitors and $10 for everyone else)

2:30pm: Presentation inside the Angler's Lodge (Jimmy Green history)

4:30pm: Competitors "feedback" meeting with SOR Chairs and Head Judge

6:00pm: Dinner (Free to competitors, $25 for everyone else)

Sunday, April 24 2022:

8:15am - 12:30pm: International Spey Casting Championship Finals: Senior's Division, Women's Division and Men's Division
