Cost: free.  This event is open to the public to register. 

This Skills Building program is designed to enhance one's practical knowledge of the sport and to assist all fly fishers wishing to become more successful when out on the lakes and streams. Varying topics are presented by an experienced fly fisher with extensive knowledge about the specific topic.  

Unless there will be no program offered in a particular month, this event is typically held on the 2nd Saturday of each month following the free public casting lessons.  

The program description will be posted here as soon as it has been set. All participants are requested to register for this event beforehand (whether or not there is any limit shown on the registration for this event) in order to gauge the expected size of the audience.

February 10th Program - Fly Rods (and fly lines) Then to Now:

Larry Kenney will be giving a presentation on Rods and lines in this February class. His talk will cover some history of fishing rods and lines and their evolution over the years. Larry has worked in the rod industry for many years and has extensive knowledge in rod building.
