Belize Saltwater Fly Fishing Rondy Adventure

This is an opportunity for 12 anglers to experience great saltwater fly fishing at an incredible price. You will stay half time at the Belize River Lodge and the other half at the Long Cay Outpost lodge. This will give you the opportunity to fish two different salt water venues. There are lots of Bonefish, Permit, Snook and one of the finest Tarpon destinations around. Many other species too.

Most of the fishing is done from a boat, shared by two anglers taking turns, and their guide. There are a few wading opportunities for Bonefish, but mostly this is not a wading destination. The 23 foot pangas are equipped with a poling platform, support bar and are great both in rougher seas and the flats. 

The Belize River lodge is located 3.5 miles up the mouth of the Belize River in a jungle setting. This allows easy access to open flats and the many Mangrove islands close to the mainland. Here we have the best access to fish a number of rivers as well as their systems of creeks and lagoons for Snook and Tarpon. 

The Long Cay Lodge is on the eastern side of Long Caye Island, a 45 minute boat ride from the mainland. Facing the Barrier corral reef, it is surrounded by sandy shallow flats, deep channels and many mangrove islands. It is a private island that is mostly uninhabited. 

The cost of this Rondy is $2495. It does not include the flight to Belize City, guide tips, alcoholic beverages, Fishing license($25), departure tax($40) or any gear rental.
