Native Fish Society to Present at GGACC Sat. March 18, 2017 – Free BBQ

Please join the Native Fish Society staff and River Stewards on Saturday, March 18th from 5:00-7:30PM at the GGACC Anglers' Lodge (following the Learn to Fly Fish's two classes that day for registered students only) for a short presentation about their work, and a complementary Free BBQ generously sponsored by GGACC member and NFS Lifetime member Ken Morando.

Native Fish Society will be at GGACC to discuss their current campaigns in northern California’s Eel and Smith rivers, as well their recent accomplishments across the Pacific Northwest to protect wild salmon and steelhead, stop habitat degradation before it starts, and help ensure wild, native fish have access to invaluable cold-water habitats.  For over 20 years, Native Fish Society has been a leading voice for wild, native fish across the Pacific Northwest.  Through their signature River Steward Program, they’re empowering grassroots advocates from northern California to British Columbia with science-based, community-focused solutions to fix the hatchery, harvest, hydro and habitat challenges that hold back wild fish recovery. With 85 dedicated River Stewards safeguarding over 4,000 river miles, Native Fish Society is dedicated to addressing the most pervasive threats to wild fish, while promoting stewardship of the habitats that sustain them.

Join us and find out more on how to be involved with protecting your favorite waters!

Our room capacity is limited, so please REGISTER for this free event so that we have an accurate headcount in advance.  (Non-members will be recorded as guests by their count only.)  Thank you!
