NOTE: This month's program was moved to Oct. 17 which is the 3rd Saturday of the month (from the usual 2nd Saturday) due to a scheduling conflict with Northwestern Casting Tournament.

Cost: Free

This program is designed to enhance one's practical knowledge of the sport and to assist all fisherman wishing to become more successful when out on the lakes and streams. Varying topics are presented by an experienced fisherman with extensive knowledge about the specific topic.

The October program will be Fly Fishing Gear that you may want to carry in your vest, pack, or pockets as presented by Garth Thompson.

Although a relatively new member of GGACC, Garth possesses many years of varied experience in fly fishing. He has fished in many places in both the U.S. and international venues. He still enjoys fly fishing in different locales, as well as backpacking in the mountains and surf fishing.  And he ties his own flies, too.

Garth will cover the gamut of all the things you might wish to carry while fly fishing other than your actual rod, reel, and line. And he will cover the safety gear you should have as well.

Please register for this event if you plan to attend.
