This Skills Building program is designed to enhance one's practical knowledge of the sport and to assist all fly fishers wishing to become more successful when out on the lakes and streams. Varying topics are presented by an experienced fly fisher with extensive knowledge about the specific topic.

The July program is a hands-on lab focused on Rigging your fly rod for a fishing trip.  Several experienced members will be help students learn how to rig for various conditions and fishing situations.  This is an excellent class for anyone new to the sport that is not sure how to rig their gear once on the water.  Depending on the students' experience, topics can range from basic rigging to specialized rigs for shooting heads, indicator fishing, trout, bass, and saltwater.

Please bring you own reel, line, leaders, tippet and anything else you would like help with.   A few demo lines and leaders will be available for testing knots, but the primary focus of this lab is to help students with their own equipment to help them get on the water and catch fish.

Due to the hands-on nature of this class, enrollment is limited to 15 students.
